At 22 November 2008, I attend wedding ceremony of Jimmy & Lenny. Jimmy & Lenny wedding is one of the most spectacular wedding in indonesia. The ceremony which takes place at Vihara Ratana Graha, Jakarta is hold by 10 monks. Perfect decoration and beautiful music entertain guests of Jimmy & Lenny wedding. Happiness rises when families, friends, and relations come to Jimmy & Lenny wedding’s party (23 November 2008). People come to Balai Sudirman (Prajurit) to see the happiness of Jimmy & Lenny. Now, their love is unified forever. I see that everyone enjoy Jimmy & Lenny wedding.

Jimmy & Lenny wedding

On 12 October 2008; I came to Vihara Mahavira Graha Pusat to attend Dhammaghosa music Concert. Dhammaghosa music Concert was created to memorize YM Girirakkhito Mahathera. Dhamaghosa music Concert specially performed Buddhist instrumental music. In opening, audiences were welcomed by Tambur Perdamaian (1, 2, 3, and 4).

Dhammaghosa music Concert performed songs, like: Sakkhaya Ditthi; Anicca, Dukkha & Anatta; Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukkhitatta, Persaudaraan, Kami Memuja, Dhamma, and Malam Suci Waisak. Dhammaghosa music Concert was supported by professional players: Antono H.T. (classical guitar), Annie Susanto (piano), and Gina Mellisa (Er-hu, pipe, and violin). Dhammaghosa music Concert which was attended by Sangha Theravada indonesia, MAGABUDHI, WANDANI, PATRIA, and Musica Studio was success with receiving big applause.

Dhamma’s message was delivered by Sri Pannavaro Mahathera. Dhammaghosa contained of dhamma and ghosa. Dhamma meant Buddha’s lesson. Ghosa meant echo. So, Dhammaghosa meant echo of Buddha’s lesson. Dhammaghosa music Concert had goal not only to give an entertainment, but also sending dhamma’s message to all areas of indonesia. Learning art could change someone’s characterization. Please we build this nation into a better change! In the global eco crisis, it was expected that Dhammaghosa music Concert could give mental refreshment for the audiences.

In this opportunity, it was also done launching of Dhammaghosa CD. Dhammaghosa CD was an album of instrumentalia CD which contained big creation of Alm. Bhikkhu Girirakkhito Mahathera. His songs had character and high religiosity of Buddha’s lesson. You would get discount if you bought in a large quantity (Rp.35.000,-/ piece, Rp.100.000,-/ 3 pieces, Rp.30.000, - => 50 pieces<).

The last event of Dhammaghosa music Concert was performance of all players: Natasya Claresta Viano, Gracenidy M.H. & Viriya (violin), Gina Mellisa (Er-hu, pipe, and violin), Annie Susanto & Ramah Lin (piano), Indra Anggara & Antono H.T. ( classical guitar). They performed songs: Di Mana Bahagia, Hua Hao Yue Yuan, and Berkah Waisaka Puja. Dhammaghosa music Concert was closed by performance of China’s music group who played China’s traditional music.

I just pass New Year holiday. I do not celebrate New Year holiday which becomes an opportunity for Moslems to meet families. I fill the holiday with doing some activities. I function this holiday to neat house. I do everything I like; such as watching TV, listening music, and window shopping. I also play with my pity rabbit (Blacky). The impression I get from the holiday is finding different situation. The holiday gives me a rest and grows new spirit.

Jakarta is lonely because all Moslems (servants) go hometown to meet their families. There is no traffic jam. All of Jakarta’s people are free to go. At the past holiday, I go to families’ house and malls. I eat ketupat, together with families.

The most interesting experience I get is playing with my nephews. They are mischievous boys. They are lazy to do homework. Their movements are very funny.

I enjoy the holiday and I hope all people get happiness.
